New Computer Room, With Computers And Internet.
There is a room available for a computer project. The children at the school have never been exposed to computer classes at the school. The computer room project is one of the important ones. We aim to teach the children basic writing and computer skills through the creation of a computer room. One day we hope to install internet and connect the school with the rest of the world.
Art Room.
The children at the school are in desperate need of an art room. If we can teach the children the skill of creating goods that they could actually use one day to maybe start a little entrepreneurial project of their own. Wouldn’t that be fantastic. Hopefully in the near future we can create an art room for the school and who knows, maybe some of these little kids can make a successful living out of the skills that they learnt at school.
Music Room.
A simple music room can be created for the school with some help. The African culture is a very vibrant one and the rhythm and music skills these kids possess is incredible. I think that all their talents are going to waste with the school not having a music room. If we could get a sponsor to create a music room then it would mean the world to the school and the children.
Office for School, Principal’s Office, Secretary’s Office.
This is an important project. The office and the secretary’s office need to act as an indicator on the value and quality of the school. We need it to look inviting and professional and allow future parents of the school to feel welcome and secure in their choice that their child will be well looked after here and well educated. the offices at the moment are very simple, with the secretary and principal sharing a small room.
Solar Powered Ideas.
With electricity on the increase all the time, I thought it to be a good idea if we could get a solar-powered sponsor to save on some electricity use at the school. Any little help means the world to the school, they appreciate any and everything that they receive. Saving on electricity will be a huge bonus and a cost saver for the school, and maybe they can put that money to use elsewhere beneficial.
Separate Girls And Boys Changing Rooms.
There are no such facilities at the school, and hopefully with the development of new sports grounds, equipment and teams, the children will need changing rooms to get into after school training gear. Not only will we need separate change rooms for the school, but eventually when they start receiving opposition teams, they would most probably also need change rooms.
