New Library.
We are currently creating a new little library for the school, made possible by friends in Germany who sponsored the project. Until 2009 the school did not have a library. It is still incomplete and we would appreciate any form of help we can get.
More Classrooms, With School Becoming Bigger And Better, More Children Will Want To Attend School.
At the moment children are leaving the school hoping to find greener grass elsewhere. With all the improvements going on at the school it will obviously attract more parents to send their children to the school. This influx of kids will definitely require more classroom space. This is another big project but not impossible. With your help we can do this, we can better the entire school and build more classrooms.
New Toilet Facilities.
This is basically non existent. The ablution facilities are some of the worst I have seen. There is no possible way that this can carry on any more, this project will definitely take some work. You can see for yourself judging by the pictures that it is simply not healthy to use the facilities at the school. Lets make a difference and change this for the school.
Assembly Hall.
The school congregates outside on the netball field every Friday morning to discuss concerning topics or to simple get all the children together for necessary school information, and if it rains, then there will be no assembly to be had, because it is outdoors. This is quite a big project because it will probably mean building a completely new building for the school. Let’s make it happen.
Teachers Room For Break Times And Meetings.
The teachers who work at the school are incredible human beings, they are doing such an amazing job with the limited resources they have. They also need a bit of a break now and then, so lets turn one of the old empty classrooms into an area where they can get some peace and quiet and also use it for meetings and conferences.
Class Photos Every Year, All Classes, Sports Teams, Teachers.
Every school needs memories from past students for them to come back to and remember their experiences at the school. With your help we can fund the taking of photos of all categories at the school.
Entrance To Kwa-Ford School.
This will most probably be done when we do the security around the school. With your help we can build an entrance to the school and create a sense of belonging as they walk through their school gates. Create an entrance to the school to show people who they are and something to be proud of.
