To create a better learning environment for disadvantaged schools in a poverty stricken areas. Free Walker projects with help from Sponsors and donations can create, build and maintain a learning environment far better than the one they have now. Sponsors are able to put money into a worthy cause and make a difference to children who need all the help and support they can get. Sponsors can donate money and join Free Walker projects and help with the building and creation of new classrooms and general upliftment programs. Volunteers joining our projects will not only be adding their valuable assistance to the school but also have the opportunity to get hands on with the physical and creative progress of the projects. Volunteers who join Free Walker projects are able to add assistance teaching to a school in desperate need of help.
The twelve current School Teachers are more than willing to have you in their Classrooms, helping them out and eventually taking classes on your own. Free Walker follows existing Government curriculums and we are in the progress of creating curriculum that we think will benefit the School immensely. Other projects involve taking old classrooms and completely upgrading them into suitable, stimulating environments, as well as the creation of totally new classrooms that the school has not had the privilege of having before. Freewalker Sports coaching goals are to create sports teams for a number of different types of activities. The school has old facilities that are very run down and there are no teachers at the school with sports coaching qualifications. Volunteers on Freewalker have the opportunity to get involved in coaching little kids who have all the talent and potential in the world, but not using it at all, due to the poor sporting conditions at the school. Freewalker aims to develop better sporting facilities at the school, with the help from Sponsors.
