Freewalker Adventure Travel has been busy throughout the Winter period with some incredible Student trips. The cold spells of icy winds and snow has not deterred our Adventure clients from indulging in the best that we have to offer. The pick of the bunch has been our Plettenberg Bay weekend trips, which are designed to get the Students off the Reserves where they are volunteering, and into a new coastal adventure environment. Students have had a blast doing the Great White Shark cage dives, snorkeling with Seals, Whale watching safaris, beach horse rides, skydiving, bungy jumping, waterfall ziplining and plenty more. Myerscough College has joined us for 3 weeks and have done the Plett adventure and the Safari camp out weekend, a great bunch of students who are always up for more. other adventure destinations chosen have been Hogsback, where we abseiled off waterfalls and enjoyed hiking the Amathole Mountain ranges at sunrise, and not to mention the Afro-Montain forests to explore. JBay day trips have been a familiar favorite too, clients being able to sandboard, surf and beach horse ride all in a days adventure…. Chintsa wild coast adventure has also seemed pretty popular and remains one of our favorite areas to frequent. Students visiting Chintsa are treated to pristine coast lines, volley ball, beach horse rides, massages, quad biking through a game reserve, abseiling, river cruises and brewery tours, it remains a hot spot to explore.
