In True Freewalker spirit, we are taking on a massive adventure to conquer, but still finding time to give back. We are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest summit in Africa. Sitting in the clouds at 5,895 m above sea level, this will be one incredible adventure to remember. Troy, Sam and Luke Finney from The United States of America will be joining me on this conquest. Tents, toilets, cooking goods, beds, food and water will all be necessary to complete this climb, but it wont be us carrying these weights, it will be local Tanzanian Porters with minimal protective climbing gear. The most common death amongst these incredible mountain men is exposure to the elements, this is where we want to help.
You can help us provide these raggedly clothed men with socks, boots, scarves, beanies, gloves or under armor gear. The two options are to make a donation to Freewalker and we will ensure that the gear is bought in Tanzania and video and photo footage provided of the donation hand outs in camp. The second option is to create a package of goods and mail me for postal details where I will personally collect the goods and disperse amongst the Porters. Either way, please mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org to see how you can help us help them. Your small efforts can make a huge difference in their lives. Safe travels everyone.
