The Perry Family from the US joined Freewalker on a custom designed adventure trip form Cape Town to Safari. The Family had a list of activities and sights to see, and with our help we managed to tick everything off the list. The Family explored Cape Town and later headed along the famous Route 62 towards Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich capital of the World. The Cango Caves, which is a World Heritage site and a National Monument since 1938 was the first big activity, followed by an educational visit to an Ostrich Farm and of course, Ostrich Riding. The Perry boys gave us quite a show with their Ostrich riding skills. The following day we were on the road to experience the Great White Sharks up close, unfortunately their was red tide in the water which apparently forced the Sharks away, and with the presence of Killer Whales, we were unable to find Sharks. (I will need to show them one day). The Seal dive off Robberg Island in Plett made up for the the mornings disappointments, followed by a great family dinner in Knysna. The Family were still in high spirits throughout the tour, which made this Family adventure an absolute pleasure. One of my more proudest moments was seeing the entire Family successfully jump off the Worlds Highest Bungy bridge and survive. the trip ended in Port Elizabeth with a sunset sandboard and drinks over looking the ocean. The Family continued their adventure to The Kruger National Park for some World class safari outings. This was one fun, spontaneous and energetic Family who I would like to thank for all the good times and laughs.
