Murray Luscombe and fellow adventure enthusiast Justin Bean made a decision to explore Afriski and see what it had to offer. Despite being the highest mountain adventure resort in Southern Africa, having snow throughout winter, having the highest restaurant and Gondola slope cafe at 3050m and a bunch of adrenalin activities for the entire family, what made us fall in love with this special place was the atmosphere created by the entire Afriski Crew.
From the minute you get there you simply know you are going to have a great time. From day one we had options of snowboarding, skiing, mountain bike trails with the most incredible views (remember to check your brakes), monster downhill wheelers, hikes, kayaking, fishing, bum boarding and more. The Sky Restaurant lying at an impressive 3050 meters above sea level is the focal point for all evenings to enjoy a good meal before hitting the Gondola Cafe on the slopes for a real Lesotho party! The staff at both facilities and the activity crew are all incredibly intuitive to your adventure fills. If it’s a good time you’re looking for then the meandering drive up breath taking mountains and the chilly winter winds won’t bother you.
We are in the process of offering the Winterfest as an adventure option for next year, so keep in touch. In the meantime, take a look at the action-packed video we have compiled. If you are interested then send me a mail for info: email@example.com
