Volunteer Itinerary
The Volunteers will be living in the Freewalker House that is located in Richmond Hill, Port Elizabeth (check out accommodation). The Freewalker team is there at all times (day & night) for constant support and guidance to assure the entire experience rewarding. They will drive the Volunteers to all project destinations throughout the week and to all weekend adventures.
Freewalker Basic Volunteers Timetable:
Monday – Friday
Wake up and enjoy breakfast before:
07h45 pick up – 15h00 for projects and volunteer work: school, and marine rehab projects (packed lunch breaks)
13h00 – 15h00 sports coaching at the School (if applicable)
Afternoon off to relax (update diaries, prepare for next day, internet, beach, socialize, etc.)
18h00pm – 19h00 dinner at volunteer residence
After 19h00 free time
Weekend Adventure Trips (flexible due to weather or group decision)
Friday night - Leave for Weekend adventure & enjoy various traditional African dinners
Saturday and Sunday – Group excursions and adventures

Every tour is specifically planned to accommodate the Volunteers chosen adventures and for activities that always seem to spontaneously arise on the tours. Freewalkers valued Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in tours to various destinations including: The Garden Route, Karoo Inland, Baviaanskloof, Plettenberg Bay, Jefferies Bay, safaris to multiple Game Reserves, the world renowned Addo Elephant National Park and many more beautiful destinations. The knowledgeable and fun Freewalker Team provides a personalized tour to suit the Volunteers every need, making their stay in South Africa more memorable and exciting.
